Oregon Tour 2011

Keep on trucking…

We had rallies in 21 towns throughout the state between the end of February and the 1st of May. The rallies are 90 minutes in length, begin with music, often by Bob Wickline, but also by local musicians. We show an 8 minute version of Paul Hochfeld’s “Health, Money, and Fear”, have MAHD and local doctors and other care givers state in 3 minutes each why they are Mad as Hell about our health care system, show the 4 minute cartoon, “Why We Need Government-Run, Universal, Socialized, Whatever You Want to Call It Health Care”, do Q & A, all sing, “My Pharmacy’s Over The Border”, have audience members each give his/her Mad As Hell minute, and close with more music.

Our purpose is to attract attention and discussion about our health care crisis and what is being done and should be done.  We plan more rallies beginning next fall.

  1. we need a new system for dental care, my staff could be doing so much more if we did not spend hours everyday with insurance issues , we talk to people from india and other countries who are employed by dental insurance companies and try to tell us what to do to our patients. Please include dental care in you healthcare system.
Include proper preventative care with all covered to receive resin bonded fillings to stop the use of Amalgam ( silver fillings), which leads to decay near nerve structure and higher costs to fix later in life. I see the damage that is caused by silver fillings everyday. It is time to protect all from a material that is no longer needed.
