Keep on trucking…
We had rallies in 21 towns throughout the state between the end of February and the 1st of May. The rallies are 90 minutes in length, begin with music, often by Bob Wickline, but also by local musicians. We show an 8 minute version of Paul Hochfeld’s “Health, Money, and Fear”, have MAHD and local doctors and other care givers state in 3 minutes each why they are Mad as Hell about our health care system, show the 4 minute cartoon, “Why We Need Government-Run, Universal, Socialized, Whatever You Want to Call It Health Care”, do Q & A, all sing, “My Pharmacy’s Over The Border”, have audience members each give his/her Mad As Hell minute, and close with more music.
Our purpose is to attract attention and discussion about our health care crisis and what is being done and should be done. We plan more rallies beginning next fall.
