On the road again…
We are taking to the streets again this fall, this time through California, where grass-roots support has brought single payer legislation to the Governor’s desk twice in prior years and approval by the Senate this year. The Assembly let SB 810 die this year in spite of strong support from legislators.
With dozens of local organizers and groups, we are planning rallies and media opportunities to build single payer energy and help the California legislature and new Governor recognize that single payer health care is the compassionate and fiscally responsible choice. From Arcata to Sacramento, we will push for a strong grassroots movement to accomplish Single Payer, not only for California, but for our Nation.
